Mentor coaching is a professional process aimed at helping you develop and demonstrate the coaching competencies required for your ICF credential. Through observed or recorded coaching sessions, you’ll receive feedback in a collaborative environment to enhance your coaching skills. When you enrol in Soluxor Institute’s Level 1 Pathway (ACC Credential) or Level 2 Pathway (PCC Credential), you gain access to experienced mentor coaches who will guide you through both the mentor coaching process and preparation for the ICF Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA). Our programs are fully designed to meet ICF requirements and support your success.

- 12 Total Hours of Mentor Coaching: Exceeding the ICF’s minimum of 10 hours to provide you with additional support and development opportunities.
- 3-Month Minimum Duration: Sessions are spread over at least 3 months (or longer) to allow time for reflection and growth between meetings.

- Whether pursuing your ACC or PCC, mentor coaching is a mandatory component of the ICF certification process. Soluxor Institute’s program includes:
- Individual Mentor Coaching: One-on-one sessions where you receive personalised feedback from an experienced ICF-credentialed coach.
- Group Mentor Coaching: Small-group sessions to learn from your peers and receive collective insights, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
These sessions are critical to refining your coaching skills, meeting ICF requirements, and preparing for both your credential application and the ICF Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA). Mentor coaching is also required for those renewing their ACC credential.

- Legacy Approved Coach Specific Training (ACSTH) Hours
- For coaches with legacy ACSTH hours (Approved Coach Specific Training Hours), it is essential to note that these hours do not automatically align with the current ICF Level 1 standards. If you hold legacy ACSTH hours, Soluxor Institute offers The Bridge Program, specifically designed to update your skills and align them with the latest ICF credentialing requirements. By completing The Bridge Program, you’ll ensure that your training meets the standards set by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), enabling a smooth transition towards certification under the new framework.
- Transferring Partial ICF Level 1 or Level 2 Hours
- If you have already completed partial Level 1 or Level 2 ICF-accredited hours from another institution and are considering switching to Soluxor Institute, we welcome you to join our program. Provided the necessary proof of prior hours at the correct ICF level is submitted, you will be fast-tracked directly into the mentor coaching program - bypassing The Bridge Program. This allows you to continue your development seamlessly and efficiently without repeating content already covered in your previous training.
- Facilitating Coaching Experience for ICF Credentials
- In addition to mentor coaching, Soluxor Institute provides dedicated support to help you gain the required coach experience hours needed for your ICF credential (100 hours for ACC, 500 hours for PCC). Through our dedicated support portal and community support platform, you will have access to resources, opportunities, and peer networks to accumulate these coaching hours. This makes Soluxor Institute a proper one-stop solution for aspiring coaches, guiding you from certification through to ICF credential achievement and beyond.
